Huge thanks to Sheryl for leading the way and placing the people first. Instead of selling out to private equity as so many others would have done in her situation. Over the years I have referred numerous prospects to GPN members and it looks like I will continue to do so. Because they would be well taken care of.
Sending love and best wishes for what comes next and please stay involved, this profession needs people like you.
Thank you.
George

Great story, Lisa. You covered the bases. Anything to add? The next generation of planning leaders need to see why being called an "idiot" for trying something new that benefits consumers is okay. And that banding together with other likeminded planners is critical to make progress. As important in the 2020s as it was in the 1990s.

Sheryl Garrett has been a shining star crusading for and leading her network in the fee-only, fiduciary space for financial advisors. But just as impressive is she is a wonderful human being. Sheryl, I hope you are now designing your "Personal Paradise" so your life going forward is full of good health, love, happiness, fun, and gratitude! I wish you all the best.
